Brides are often overwhelmed with so many different aspects of wedding planning, and their style often falls to the wayside. Our mission here at Modish Bridal is to ensure that the couple is able to actualize their dream style vision for their wedding day and events.
Modish Bridal was the brainchild of sister, cousin, besties; Yemisi Bassey (nee Yakubu) and Memi Oladapo in 2018, during the planning of Yemisi’s wedding. We spent so much time and intention on pulling together everything she wore from engagement shoot, traditional wedding outfits to her wedding day. It was from that experience that we believed there was a need for this, for someone to come in and really walk with you in imagining, procuring, and making these looks really come to life. Unfortunately Yemisi passed away before we were able to formally launch our business but she is with us in spirit. Four years later, we have mustered the strength and courage to go on with this passion that was placed within us. We do this in memory of Yemisi. #YemisiForever
